Project Description

North County Dublin – Country Estate Case Study

Detail can often be lost amongst gardens on a large scale, but this is where Carragh, in conjunction with design partners Murphy Sheanon, prove themselves to be an exception to the rule.
The site, based in North county Dublin, already boasted a stunning property with a mature Beech woodland and a variety of specimen trees. This has now been transformed into a unique outdoor space, demonstrating Carragh’s unrelenting strive for detail.

This landscape is a testament to Carragh’s exceptional standards and demonstrates that, when it comes to construction, Carragh will leave no stone un-turned in order to build the clients dream garden, a service few can rival.

Copses of Birch amongst clusters of shrubs and herbaceous perennials, bursting with colour, border meandering pathways taking you on a journey between stunning Portuguese Granite patios, reflection ponds and woodland walkways allowing the client to get lost in their own garden.

Every turn allows for a new perspective, a new space to enjoy. Changing seasons means the landscape rarely looks the same but is constantly evolving and developing. However, amongst all the complexity, detail and craftsmanship, the garden still affords you the simple comfort and luxury to sit, relax and enjoy a bar-be-que in the summer sun on a perfectly laid granite patio from one of our Portuguese Quarries.

An urban oasis, hidden in plain sight

“The gardens are an absolute pleasure and have transformed our day to day living; we spend a lot more time outdoors as a family and we avail of all of their facilities significantly more than ever before. Carragh’s staff were in our gardens and around our home for a protracted period of time and were always courteous, responsible and highly reliable. All of the work was additionally completed to a very high standard; I would have no hesitation in recommending them without reservation”
